This is more than just a t-shirt for me. It’s a story. A Lifestyle. A Philosophy. 

The idea for “I AM AN ATHLETE. LIFE IS MY SPORT.” came from a session with a beloved long time client of mine, Marilyn, who was soon to celebrate her 75th birthday, and her DREAM was to take her now 2 year old granddaughter, Violet, to Paris when she turned 10!!! In one of our sessions Marilyn was telling me that walking around Greenlake takes a little longer nowadays and doesn’t bode well for living out her dream of exploring Paris with Violet in the year 2023. In response, I passionately blurted, “Well, you have to think of yourself as an athlete… and LIFE is your sport!” In that moment, Marilyn and I looked at each other and smiled; we knew I had stumbled across something BIG. “I AM AN ATHLETE. LIFE IS MY SPORT.” is a philosophy, a lifestyle, a point of view. I strongly believe you don’t just show up to life. You engage on as many cylinders as possible to make it what YOU want it to be! 

This philosophy is something I want to share with all of you.  For now, the incarnation of my philosophy, “I AM AN ATHLETE. LIFE IS MY SPORT.” is this! (Image of t-shirt below). I hope when you wear it you feel inspired to show up BIG and in turn inspire others to do the same.
